About the Position

We are seeking a QA Engineer – Automation to join our team in Tbilisi, Georgia. You will design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for mobile app UI and backend services.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test frameworks for mobile app UI and backend services.
  • Implement structured, reusable, and scalable automation test cases for Android/iOS apps.
  • Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to support agile development cycles.
  • Collaborate with developers and QA teams to identify testing needs and ensure coverage.
  • Conduct API testing across protocols including HTTP and gRPC; validate backend behaviors and integrations.
  • Analyze automation test results and logs; debug and resolve failures efficiently.
  • Contribute to performance testing strategy and script design when needed.
  • Continuously improve automation processes, tools, and frameworks.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in mobile UI automation testing using Appium or equivalent frameworks.
  • Familiar with testing frameworks such as JUnit or TestNG.
  • Strong programming skills in Java or Python.
  • Ability to write clean, modular, and reusable test code.
  • Hands-on experience with API testing; familiarity with gRPC is a strong plus.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools and integrating test scripts into build pipelines.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science or a related field.
