About the Position
QA Engineer (Game Server)
We are looking for a dedicated QA Engineer (Game Server) to join our team at ARRISE, a global leader in software development and services for the online gaming industry. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring top-notch gaming experiences for millions of players worldwide.
Responsibilities
- Go through the software requirements and get clarifications on one's doubts.
- Become familiar with the software under test and any other related software.
- Understand the master test plan and/or the project plan.
- Create or assist in creating your test plan.
- Generate test cases based on the requirements and other documents.
- Procure or create test data required for testing.
- Test software releases by executing assigned tests (manual and/or automated).
- Report test results.
- Update test cases based on the discovered defects.
- Support the team with testing tasks as required.
- Keep up-to-date on the overview of the development technology, the popular testing tools (e.g., automated testing tools and test management systems), and the overview of the business domain.
Requirements
- Skills Required:
- Working as a Quality Assurance Engineer for 1+ years (Back-end).
- Good experience in Manual Testing of Web applications.
- Advanced skills in requirements analysis.
- Knowledge and practical experience working with SQL.
- Knowledge and practical experience working with GIT, Kibana, and Jenkins will be a plus.
- Deep understanding and experience in the software development life cycle.
- Excellent skills in reading and analyzing logs to identify the root cause of a defect.
- Ability to prioritize test cases based on risk analysis.
- Multitasking skills.
- Intermediate English level.
- Strong communication skills.
- Gaming application expertise will be a plus.
- Integration testing using SOAP UI and Postman will be a plus.
