Job description

About the Position

As a QA Engineer at Nmbrs, you will safeguard the quality of everything our engineering teams ship. You will act as a shared testing resource for Team Platform, building and maintaining automated test frameworks and covering E2E, API, and performance testing, using your expertise in test automation. Together with our development, QA, and DevOps teams, you will ensure quality is embedded throughout the entire delivery lifecycle. And you don't just focus on catching today's defects: you look for ways to make the testing process itself faster and more reliable.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks to ensure robustness and efficiency in our testing process.
  • Implement end-to-end (E2E) tests that provide comprehensive functional and regression coverage for our applications.
  • Perform API testing to thoroughly validate backend services and integrations, ensuring data integrity and system reliability.
  • Conduct performance and load testing to ensure application scalability and stability under varying load conditions.
  • Develop and execute behavior-driven (BDD) test scenarios that bridge the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders and clarify requirements.
  • Integrate automated tests into our Azure CI/CD pipelines, enabling continuous delivery and fast feedback on code quality.

Requirements

  • Strong experience with E2E testing tools, specifically Playwright, for comprehensive test automation.
  • Experience with API testing using tools like Postman, RestSharp, SoapUI, or similar, to effectively validate backend services and integrations.
  • Solid experience with performance and load testing using JMeter or similar industry-standard tools, to ensure system scalability.
  • Hands-on experience with C# and .NET, and Typescript including developing and maintaining automated test frameworks and test scripts.
  • Proven ability to implement BDD principles using frameworks like SpecFlow or Reqnroll.
  • Strong familiarity with integrating automated tests into Azure pipelines and managing code using Git for CI/CD and version control.
  • Experience designing and implementing maintainable test automation using architectural patterns, particularly the Page Object Model (POM).

We Offer

  • Personal development: a generous training budget, available from day one, for specialized certifications, strategy courses, data analytics training, and more, to solidify your technical expertise.
  • Time off & flexibility: 28 vacation days (with the option to buy extra days), plus Workation: up to 5 weeks of remote work per year.
  • Well-being & focus: access to lifestyle coaches, healthy lunches, and other initiatives that support your well-being and focus, such as the option to lease a bike.
  • Financial security: a competitive base salary between €4,000 – €5,500 gross per month, based on experience, with attractive benefits, such as full pension coverage.
  • Optimal workplace: the best hardware, including an Apple or Dell laptop, and a home-office budget to set up your remote workspace.
  • Plenty of opportunities: enjoy the speed and autonomy of an innovative software collective, backed by the stability, resources, and global career network of the global Visma Group.
  • Team & international culture: take part in (international) team-building days and other Nmbrs events that strengthen our close team spirit in a diverse, international environment.
