QA Engineer (project TutTam)

About the Position

Kyivstar.Tech is seeking a QA Engineer for the TutTam project to ensure high quality of the mobile app and web product.

TutTam is a FoodTech service marketplace where establishments can sell surplus products, and users can purchase quality food or services at significant discounts.

Responsibilities

• Test the TutTam mobile app and web product.
• Analyze requirements, User Stories, and Acceptance Criteria before development begins.
• Create and maintain test documentation: Test Cases, Checklists, Test Plans.
• Conduct functional, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing.
• Test integrations between the web, mobile app, and backend.
• Verify the correctness of REST API using Postman or similar tools.
• Reproduce, document, and track defects in Jira until they are fixed.
• Collaborate with Product Owner, Business Analyst, Designer, and development team to ensure high product quality.
• Participate in sprint planning, refinement, and other Agile ceremonies. Initiate improvements in testing and quality control processes.

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience as a Manual QA Engineer or QA Engineer.
• Experience testing web and mobile applications (iOS and Android).
• Practical experience with REST API and Postman.
• Experience creating test documentation (Test Cases, Checklists, Bug Reports).
• Understanding of client-server architecture and the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Experience working in Agile teams (Scrum or Kanban).
• Experience with Confluence or similar tools.
• Attention to detail, system thinking, and proactivity.
• Ability to clearly describe defects and interact with the development team.

Nice to Have

• Experience in FoodTech, eCommerce, marketplaces, or HoReCa.
• Experience testing WebView applications.
• Basic SQL knowledge for data verification.
• Experience with Firebase, Crashlytics, or similar services.
• Experience in test automation or a desire to develop in this direction.
• Experience testing payment systems, card payments, or integrations with external services.
• Understanding of CI/CD.
• Experience in performance or security testing is a plus.
