About the Position
We're seeking a QA Engineer (Radars) to join our R&D team in Kyiv, Ukraine, focusing on testing and validating radio-technical systems.
Responsibilities
- Analyze requirements for radio-technical hardware and software systems and complexes.
- Create test programs, test plans, checklists, and test cases to ensure traceability of product requirements.
- Develop automated test benches for testing hardware and firmware of experimental product samples.
- Automate the measurement of RF and LOS subsystem characteristics of products.
- Test functional and non-functional requirements of products.
- Load and stress testing to meet standards such as MIL-STD-810, STANAG - 4370, MIL-STD-461, etc.
- Regression testing when changes are made to the firmware and/or hardware subsystems of the product.
Requirements
- Experience in creating automated test benches for validating radio-technical systems and their components for compliance with functional and non-functional requirements.
- Experience in creating test programs, test plans, checklists, and test cases for hardware and software radio-technical systems in accordance with the requirements.
- Proficient user of measurement equipment (oscilloscope, logic analyzer, AWG generator, spectrum analyzer, vector signal generator, VNA, etc.).
- Experience in automating measurement equipment using the SCPI protocol.
- Experience in automating test benches using Python or Matlab.
- Experience in automated measurement of radio-technical system parameters (sensitivity, dynamic range, frequency and spatial selectivity, etc.).
- Proficient user of Linux.
- Higher technical education in the field of radio engineering, instrumentation, or radiophysics.
