About the Position
We are seeking a dedicated QA Engineer - Remittance for Astratech, a UAE-based technology investment and development group. Join us in our mission to build the world’s first ultra platform & ecosystem, disrupting the consumer technology space by rethinking the boundaries of a digital ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough end-to-end functional and non-functional testing for mobile apps.
- Ensure the security of payment transaction flows through careful analysis and testing.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate security best practices and compliance regulations.
- Identify potential flaws and security risks during business processes and communicate them effectively.
- Perform backend API testing and database validation to ensure the integrity and security of data flows.
- Actively participate in Agile projects, ensuring the QA process is aligned with development cycles.
- Stay updated with relevant security guidelines and compliance standards in the payment and telecommunication industries.
- Conduct thorough end-to-end functional and non-functional testing for mobile apps.
- Ensure the security of payment transaction flows through careful analysis and testing.
Requirements
- Proven experience in the payment and mobile app industry, with a strong focus on QA.
- Familiarity with security methodologies, regulations, and compliance standards (e.g., PCI DSS) in payment and telecommunications.
- Experience with end-to-end mobile app testing (functional and non-functional).
- Strong knowledge of SQL fundamentals.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify business vulnerabilities and risks.
- Hands-on experience with backend API testing and database testing.
- Experience working in Agile development environments with QA involvement in sprints.
- Good knowledge of payment flows and transaction testing.
- Experience working on remittance projects.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science or a related field.
