About the Position
We are seeking a QA Lead with over 8 years of experience in QA and SDET to lead our quality strategy and automation efforts. This role is a blend of hands-on coding and leadership, where you will write the most challenging code and own the quality function.
Responsibilities
- Owns quality strategy across the 1-week cadence as surface area grows, ensuring the cross-service contract suite gates production.
- Sets the automation patterns by shipping them and raises the QA engineers around you.
- Demonstrates a chaos/failure-injection mindset by proving the platform degrades gracefully under various failure scenarios.
- Keeps the respect of senior engineers through technical credibility and is comfortable delivering critical feedback quickly and with data.
- Shows a "show-me" mentality on committed timelines, ensuring quality is visible in every Friday demo and never becoming a bottleneck.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in QA / SDET.
- Experience in building a test-automation foundation from scratch for a fast-shipping product.
- Strong technical credibility and leadership skills.
