About the Position
We are looking for a QA Project Manager to join our team in Manila, Philippines. If you are passionate about quality assurance and project management, and you thrive in a dynamic and collaborative environment, we want you on our team!
Responsibilities
- Elevate your team’s testing knowledge and constantly provide feedback by setting clear goals for each member, track their progress, and offering support for their career growth.
- Assist the Project Manager in implementing the vertical strategy on each project.
- Understand basic budgeting.
- Directly communicate with partners and stakeholders for day-to-day needs.
- Execute on test cases and create test plans to ensure ample coverage for project needs and that the product is up to industry and company standards.
- Have knowledge and exposure to various platforms (PC, Console, Mobile (iOS/Android), Handhelds, Web Tools, Software, JIRA, etc).
- Onboard new employees and create personalized development plans based on their desired path.
- Generate quantitative and qualitative feedback and reports for partners and upper management to measure their team’s performance and its impact on the business.
- Conduct monthly evaluations and host 1:1 meetings for direct reports, including Test Leads and Testers.
- Create handbooks and training materials for projects to set a standard for others to follow.
- Train and mentor staff and create personal development plans for their path of choice.
Requirements
- Core Skills:
- You're in sync with QA processes and methodologies, navigating them with finesse and expertise.
- Adaptability and good time management skills.
- Fluent in English, you convey ideas with clarity, charisma, and precision, both in script and in person.
- Possesses a strong sense of ownership for their projects, company, and the growth of their team.
- A high-level understanding of each of the business needs of the clients.
