About the Position
We are seeking a QA Specialist with experience in software testing to join our team in Estonia, Latvia, or Lithuania.
The Candidate
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and accuracy.
- Experienced in software testing, with a deep understanding of various testing methodologies (manual and automated).
- Proficient in writing test cases, test scripts, and documentation for testing processes.
- Familiar with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, Selenium, JUnit/TestNG, etc.).
- Adept at working within Agile frameworks and methodologies.
- A clear communicator with excellent collaboration skills, able to work effectively with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders.
- Able to manage multiple projects and deliverables in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and execute test plans and test cases based on project requirements.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using bug-tracking tools.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure defects are properly identified, prioritized, and resolved.
- Perform regression, functional, and performance testing to ensure product quality.
- Automate test scripts where possible to improve testing efficiency.
- Work closely with the product owners and developers to ensure user stories are testable and meet acceptance criteria.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, providing input on test scope and timelines.
- Continuously improve the QA process and introduce new tools or practices to enhance the quality of deliverables.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a QA Specialist or similar role in the IT sector.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Familiarity with both manual and automated testing techniques.
- Experience working within Agile frameworks and methodologies.
- Proficiency in bug-tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
- Solid knowledge of scripting languages or automation tools is a plus (e.g., Selenium, Python).
- Fluent in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Location: Based in Estonia, Latvia, or Lithuania.
