About the Position

The candidate is:

Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and accuracy.
Experienced in software testing, with a deep understanding of various testing methodologies (manual and automated).
Proficient in writing test cases, test scripts, and documentation for testing processes.
Familiar with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, Selenium, JUnit/TestNG, etc.).
Adept at working within Agile frameworks and methodologies.
A clear communicator with excellent collaboration skills, able to work effectively with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders.
Able to manage multiple projects and deliverables in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and execute test plans and test cases based on project requirements.
Identify, document, and track software defects using bug-tracking tools.
Collaborate with development teams to ensure defects are properly identified, prioritized, and resolved.
Perform regression, functional, and performance testing to ensure product quality.
Automate test scripts where possible to improve testing efficiency.
Work closely with the product owners and developers to ensure user stories are testable and meet acceptance criteria.
Participate in Agile ceremonies, providing input on test scope and timelines.
Continuously improve the QA process and introduce new tools or practices to enhance the quality of deliverables.

Proven experience as a QA Specialist or similar role in the IT sector.
Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
Familiarity with both manual and automated testing techniques.
Experience working within Agile frameworks and methodologies.
Proficiency in bug-tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
Solid knowledge of scripting languages or automation tools is a plus (e.g., Selenium, Python).
Fluent in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
Location: Based in Estonia, Latvia, or Lithuania.
