QA Specialist - Strategy Games at Twin Harbour Interactive

The Supremacy franchise is one of Stillfront Group's biggest and fastest-growing ones. Supremacy is being operated from Hamburg and Malta with location-bound game operations. This role offers the stability of a market leader combined with the creative agility of a specialized studio.

About the Position

We are hiring an experienced QA Specialist (Full-time) to ensure the quality of our live strategy games through comprehensive testing across mobile and web platforms.

Your Mission:

  • Design test plans from provided game design documents and in-game prototyping.
  • Update and execute test plans alongside new feature releases.
  • Perform smoke tests, sanity checks, and full system regression testing.
  • Identify, document, and report defects using standardized bug tracking software (Jira).
  • Manage tickets and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure release deadlines are met.
  • Deliver structured QA feedback to game teams to optimize player experience - covering Usability, Compatibility, and Accessibility testing.
  • Apply black-box testing alongside developer tools to monitor and improve overall app performance.
  • Execute multi-platform testing across Android, iOS, and web, including UI testing and Exploratory testing.
  • Join us at the forefront of gaming technology, where you will leverage your expertise in AI tools like Claude to drive innovation and see the immediate impact of your work on our production pipeline.

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of hands-on experience in software or games QA, with a solid understanding of the bug life cycle and testing methodologies.
  • Quality Mindset: You don't just find bugs; you understand why they happen and how to prevent them.
  • Ability to leverage AI tools and methodologies to make the process more efficient and drive high-quality output.
  • Language: Fluency in English; you’re a pro at communicating complex technical issues to cross-functional teams.
  • Seeking hybrid opportunities in Hamburg or Malta with valid work permit in hand.
