Qt/C++ Software Engineer

About the Position

We are looking for a Qt/C++ Software Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of a mission-critical desktop application used in the legal industry.

Our R&D centers are located in Ukraine (Kharkiv, Kremenchuk, Lviv) and Georgia (Tbilisi), and we employ more than 300 people.

About the Project

We have an internally built, mission-critical Windows desktop application for opening, editing, and exporting court transcripts. It is written in Qt/C++ and supports export to PDF, ASCII, and PDX formats. The codebase integrates libraries such as Hunspell, DebenuPDF, Apache Tika, docTo, and Fervor and provides video-to-transcript synchronization via QMediaPlayer and MDB timestamp import.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and fix bugs in the existing Qt/C++ codebase.
• Implement small, well-scoped feature requests.
• Maintain export workflows (PDF, ASCII, PDX) and third-party integrations.
• Deliver builds and concise technical notes for future hand-off.

Requirements

• Proven experience with Qt (widgets, multimedia) and modern C++ on Windows.
• Ability to integrate and debug external libraries/tools (Hunspell, DebenuPDF, Apache Tika, docTo, Fervor).
• Understanding of video playback and synchronization in Qt Multimedia (QMediaPlayer) and common video formats (AVI, MPG, MOV).
• Familiarity with PDF/text export pipelines.
