About the Position
Quality Assurance Engineer - Tester
Montrose Software is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer - Tester with experience in manual web application testing to join our team in Kraków, Poland.
Job Description
Hula is a webservice tool created to manage small to medium size companies. It is mainly targeted to software houses but can be also used in e.g. Law firms. Hula main features are keeping records of clients and contracts with them, rates, discounts, managing information about projects (duration, team members) and basing on stored information invoicing clients. Hula have also modules for keeping employee information (contract details, salaries), managing employee contract changes, keeping record of holidays and delivers system for employees to request and manage their vacations.

Location: Kraków / Hybrid/ Remote from Poland
Team & Collaboration
- Rotating team depending on project needs
- Regular meetings: Daily Standups (12:30PM) and retrospectives - after release
- Communication: Chat, emails, and calls
- Working hours: usually 9:00–17:00 CET
Responsibilities
- Executing manual tests, and reviewing results
- Evaluate product according to specifications
- Report and document technical issues
- Report bugs and errors to development teams
- Help troubleshoot issues
Requirements
- Proven experience in Quality Assurance and manual web application testing
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Very good English (at least B2)
- High attention to detail and precision
- Be very organized
- Experience with Excel
- ISTQB knowledge
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of JIRA
- Knowledge of Agile, Scrum
- Basic knowledge of version control systems
- Willingness to constantly develop skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- ISTQB certificate is a plus

Salary
- UoP: 8000 - 13,000 PLN
- B2B: 10,700 - 16,800 PLN
