About the Position

Our client is a pioneer in the future-oriented market of active medical devices. An international team of experts from the areas of medical technology, information technology, and microsystems technology develops and markets high-tech products of implantable adaptive visual prosthesis. The company is accredited to ISO 13485 and emphasizes process-oriented quality management. Due to the upcoming market launch of the system and to expand the organization of our client, we are looking for a Quality Assurance Implant Engineer.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the quality of processes and products in the field of implants
• Define the product and process specifications and keep these up to date
• Cooperate with external suppliers to maintain and control the manufacturing activities
• Be in charge of the validation of internal and external processes and maintain product tests and studies in the development and manufacturing of external product components
• Support the continuous quality improvement of implant components
• Be actively involved in the quality management system and help to improve it continuously

Requirements

• Work experience in quality management or quality assurance
• Engineering degree or comparable education in the field of medical devices combined with further training in quality management
• Familiarity with ISO 13485, ideally with class 3 products
• Experience with the documentation of processes and writing quality procedures in English
• Pragmatic and analytical approach with a focus on process-optimized quality management
• Problem-solving mindset with an affinity to high-tech products
• Fluency in English
