Join us and make Sollers be driven by… you!

About Quality Assurance:

Each financial services organization is a software company at heart nowadays. With a number of software platforms in place and constant pressure from the business to adapt them to the ever-changing business environment, they need to develop a high volume of new code and meet the strict time and quality standards.

At Sollers, our Software Quality Assurance Competency helps clients achieve these goals by implementing industry-leading quality practices, automating testing processes, and embedding QA across the entire software delivery lifecycle.

We ensure that QA is not an afterthought - but a strategic enabler of agility, speed, and trust.

About the role. You will:

  • Define and implement testing approaches and test scopes for assigned project areas in coordination with Test Managers.
  • Design, prepare, and execute manual test cases based on business and technical requirements and defined test strategies.
  • Contribute to the implementation and execution of our test automation activities.
  • Execute integration, user acceptance, and end-to-end tests to ensure functional correctness and requirement acceptance.
  • Identify, prepare, and manage required test data across project streams.
  • Maintain and continuously improve test cases, test documentation, and QA artifacts.
  • Coordinate and support User Acceptance Tests together with business testers and functional stakeholders.
  • Conduct knowledge sharing and hands-on collaboration within QA and cross-functional project teams to ensure consistent quality delivery.
  • Demonstrate active contribution to multiple project streams and effective work in both agile and classical delivery environments to meet quality and timeline objectives.

Requirements

  • Proven hands-on experience of at least 4 years in manual and automation software testing, including test case design, preparation, execution, and documentation.
  • Solid understanding of testing approaches, test scope definition, and requirement-based testing in delivery projects.
  • Practical experience with integration testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and end-to-end testing.
  • Experience in maintaining and updating test cases, test documentation, and QA-related artifacts.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders, testers, and cross-functional delivery teams during testing and acceptance phases.
  • Experience working in agile and/or classical project environments, adapting QA activities to project needs.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a hands-on, ownership-driven mindset.
  • Excellent verbal and written German and English skills.

Nice to Have

  • Experience supporting or coordinating User Acceptance Tests (UAT) with business stakeholders.
  • Exposure to test data preparation and coordination across project streams.
  • Ability to contribute to multiple project streams in parallel.
  • Experience in a consulting or client-facing environment.
  • Basic knowledge of QA methodologies, test automation, or performance testing.
  • Willingness to contribute to knowledge sharing or mentoring within teams.

We Offer

  • Flexible working hours and a hybrid home office model (2-3 times per week in the office) as work-life balance is crucial at Sollers.
  • A chance to be promoted twice a year and a clearly defined career path with salary forecast.
  • Opportunities for growth with a training budget that you can use for courses and conferences. We also provide access to an online training platform and co-fund language classes.
  • An internal coach to guide you through the onboarding, further training, and career opportunities, plus a budget to be used for your lunches together.
  • A chance to #domore for the planet and the community as part of Sollers Change Makers – our volunteering program.
  • Lots of team-building activities, trips, hobby groups, and cultural events to create a company powered by teamwork.
  • Probably all the benefits you can think of!

Tips & Tricks

Daria, Senior Consultant

My top 3 tips for an interview at Sollers are:

  • Prepare well! Before the interview and tests, I solved some brain teasers and practiced how to present my knowledge and experience.
  • Share your questions and thinking! When solving brain teasers & analytical questions I shared my assumptions & thoughts with the recruiter.
  • Know the business! Get familiar with Sollers, the industry, and business partners.

Sandra, Consultant

After working in the finance industry for over a decade and already gathering knowledge in the area of IT projects, it was clear to me where to head next. So when I started as a Senior Analyst at Sollers in mid 2020, I was looking forward to dive deeper into the world of IT and project management. My main assignment is at one of the biggest German insurers where I'm supporting the digital transformation.

What I probably appreciate most at Sollers is being surrounded by competent and motivated people. A lot of frequent knowledge exchange and the possibility to take active parts in projects helps you to grow steadily. And a transparent path of promotion lets you build your own career.
