About the Position

Quality Improvement Intern

British American Tobacco Mexico has an exciting opportunity as a Quality Improvement Intern in Madero, Monterrey.

Responsibilities

Mantener actualizadas las especificaciones de producto en cada una de las plataformas (PLM, Gmes, SAP, Base de Datos BM).
Monitorear el estado de nuevas marcas en reuniones coordinadas con el equipo de NPI.
Guiar y apoyar el desempeño operacional con enfoque en “cero” pérdidas, liderando reuniones para la correcta implementación de cambios y el consumo de materiales (BOM).
Hacer seguimiento a la obsolescencia de SKU junto con el equipo de Master Data.
Implementar mejores prácticas en los procesos que puedan generar ideas para la reducción de costos y desperdicios.
Modificar parámetros de proceso y cigarrillos que no cumplan con las especificaciones inicialmente definidas, con aprobación previa del equipo de Producto.
Conocimiento general sobre procesos productivos, manufactura y análisis de datos.
Gestión de datos, análisis de tendencias y mejoras de procesos.

Requirements

Cursar estudios de Ingeniería Industrial, Ingeniería de Sistemas, Ingeniería. Gestión Empresarial, Ingeniería. Mecatrónica con graduación proyectada para mediados de 2027 o fecha posterior.
No planear salir de intercambio por lo menos, durante 1 año.
Tener disponibilidad para cumplir con 30 horas por semana, en horarios flexibles a programar de acuerdo con su carga académica.
Inglés nivel intermedio-avanzado.
Manejo intermedio de Microsoft Office, con especial énfasis en PowerPoint y Excel.
Conocimiento general sobre procesos productivos, manufactura y análisis de datos.
Gestión de datos, análisis de tendencias y mejora de procesos.
Habilidades de comunicación, pensamiento estratégico, competencia técnica y pensamiento crítico.
Disponibilidad para aprender, credibilidad a nivel senior y compromiso.
