British American Tobacco Hungary has an exciting opportunity for a Quality Performance Coordinator in Pécs
As a Quality Performance Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards across all factory operations. You’ll work closely with production, engineering, and project teams to maintain quality processes, support new product launches, and drive continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with global quality standards and support their implementation across all Pécs factory sites
- Contribute to the development and rollout of new or updated quality requirements, including training relevant teams
- Analyze quality performance, identify root causes of issues, and drive corrective and preventive actions
- Support new product introductions (NPI) by monitoring quality and ensuring smooth project delivery
- Collaborate closely with production, engineering, and project teams to maintain high quality standards
- Monitor non-conforming products (NCP) and follow up on actions to prevent recurrence
- Communicate key updates, trends, and investigation results to stakeholders
- Participate in shopfloor activities and quality investigations to support improvement plans
- Track and contribute to achieving key quality KPIs
- Create and update SOPs, processes, and work instructions to improve the quality system
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in Quality, Manufacturing, or a related field
- Degree in Engineering or a related technical field (e.g. Production, Industrial, or Quality)
- Basic understanding of production processes and quality systems
- Experience working cross-functionally (e.g. with Production, QA, Engineering)
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, hands-on approach
- Experience in project or NPI environment is a plus
- Good command of English (written and spoken)
