About the Position
Quality Technician | Quality Department | Lisbon, Portugal
NZYTech is a privately owned, fast-growing international Portuguese company that develops, produces, and supplies a wide range of solutions in the fields of Molecular Biology & Diagnostics, Enzymes & Proteins, and enzymatic Assay Kits.
Responsibilities
- Support the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS).
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 requirements.
- Support activities related to the In Vitro Diagnostic Medical Devices Regulation (IVDR – EU 2017/746).
- Prepare, review, and maintain technical documentation and internal procedures.
- Participate in internal and external audits.
- Support the management of CAPA and non-conformities.
- Assist with risk management, document control, and internal training.
- Work with different teams to support regulatory compliance activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, Health Sciences, Quality Management, or a related field.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 13485, and the IVDR framework.
- Previous experience in Quality Management Systems is an advantage.
- Good written and spoken English.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive.
- Good communication and technical writing skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Nice to Have
- Experience in the Medical Devices or In Vitro Diagnostics (IVD) industry.
- Experience with audits.
- Knowledge of document control and CAPA.
- Additional training in Quality Management or Regulatory Affairs.
