Job Description, Responsibilities & Requirements

About the Position

We are looking for an R&D Project Analyst with experience in projects regulated by ANEEL (Brazil's National Electric Energy Agency) and a background in the electricity sector, particularly in energy distribution.

In this role, you will support the structuring, submission, monitoring, and reporting of Research, Development, and Innovation (R&D) projects. You will ensure compliance with regulatory standards, maintain effective project control, and act as a key liaison between technical teams, external partners, and regulatory bodies.

Responsibilities

  • Structure, develop, and submit R&D projects in line with ANEEL guidelines
  • Manage the full project lifecycle, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure
  • Ensure compliance with the ANEEL R&D Manual and other applicable regulations
  • Prepare and consolidate technical and financial reports, as well as accountability documentation
  • Control project timelines, scope, budget, and deliverables
  • Support audits, validations, and regulatory processes with ANEEL
  • Contribute to building the company's technological innovation pipeline
  • Assess the technical, regulatory, and strategic feasibility of new projects

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Technology, Project Management, or a related field
  • Proven experience with R&D projects regulated by ANEEL
  • Hands-on experience with the submission, monitoring, and accountability of regulated projects
  • Solid knowledge of the ANEEL R&D Manual and applicable regulations
  • Experience managing medium- to high-complexity projects
  • Knowledge of the electricity sector, preferably in energy distribution
  • Strong command of timeline, scope, budget, and documentation control
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • An innovation-driven, product-oriented mindset
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Clear communication with technical, regulatory, and executive audiences
  • Analytical thinking and critical judgment
  • Proactivity and a strong sense of accountability
  • Ability to build relationships with multiple stakeholders
  • A structured profile, focused on compliance and results delivery
  • Intermediate or advanced English

Nice to Have

  • Experience with technological innovation projects in the electricity sector, such as smart grids, smart metering, asset digitalization, AI, or analytics
  • Familiarity with TRL (Technology Readiness Levels), MVP, prototyping, and innovation frameworks
  • Background in energy distribution companies, consultancies, or research centers
  • Knowledge of PMBOK, agile methodologies, or hybrid models
  • Proficiency in Power BI, MS Project, Jira, or similar tools
