React developer

About the Position

Welvaart is seeking a Senior Front-End Developer with expertise in React to join their team in Lisboa, PT. This role is full-time and can be performed remotely.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain modern web applications using React (17 & 19).
• Build and optimize complex forms, interactive tables, and dynamic lists.
• Ensure compliance with Web Accessibility (WCAG) standards across all UI components.
• Create reusable and scalable components using Material UI.
• Implement and validate forms using Formik or similar libraries.
• Manage application state with Redux or equivalent solutions.
• Develop scalable and maintainable code using TypeScript.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to development best practices.
• Collaborate closely with UX/UI Designers, Backend Developers, and Product Teams throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Use Git for version control and collaborative development.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional experience in Front-End Development.
• Proven experience working in international and multicultural environments.
• Strong knowledge of:
  • React 17 & 19
  • TypeScript
  • Material UI
  • Formik (or similar form management libraries)
  • Redux (or similar state management libraries)
• Proven experience in:
  • Building complex forms and validation flows
  • Developing interactive tables and lists
  • Creating accessible user interfaces compliant with WCAG standards
  • Working within the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Strong communication skills
