Responsibilities
- React Development Ownership: Take the lead in building and maintaining frontend applications with an emphasis on modularity, performance, and user experience.
- System Thinking: Understand and navigate a complex system that processes travel data from hundreds of sources across 7 countries.
- Tech Collaboration: Work closely with backend engineers (Symfony, PHP, Go), data engineers, and product owners.
- Mentorship & Reviews: Share your knowledge, review code with empathy, and support teammates in growing.
- Quality Engineering: Write tests, advocate for best practices, and be pragmatic about trade-offs between speed and maintainability.
- Agile Rituals: Participate actively in dailies, retrospectives, and planning meetings.
- Tooling: Use a robust stack including React and TypeScript.
Requirements
- React
- TypeScript
- Next.js
- Strong communication skills in English (min. B2)
- Solid experience in designing and consuming RESTful services
- Proficient in using Chrome DevTools and performance optimization
Nice to Have
- Experience with SEO/SEA
- Playwright or other automated e2e set up
- Micro services architecture understanding (monorepo)
- Familiarity with any backend language (preferred GoLang, but PHP, Node, Scala will be also ok)
- Mantine UI library
- Demonstrated experience with personal or professional projects on GitHub is a plus.
