About the Position
We are looking for a recruiter to join the operational team of a defense-tech project. The main goal is to build a recruitment process for a rapidly growing company. You will have the opportunity to directly influence key hiring decisions and shape the core team. The role reports directly to the CEO, with high priority and responsibility. The majority of tasks are operational.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a candidate recruitment strategy
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from candidate outreach to offer stage
- Organize and maintain a candidate database and job postings
- Participate in industry events and represent the company with other team members
Requirements
- Proven experience in building strong teams
- Excellent communication skills
- Empathy, understanding of communication principles, and effective message delivery
- Experience in writing job descriptions and offer letters
- Ability to structure the recruitment process, including documentation and database management (Google Drive/Spreadsheets)
- Basic technical knowledge for effective communication with technical candidates
- Understanding of current sourcing strategies and platforms for defense-tech talent
- Experience in defense-tech or military-focused NGOs is a plus
