About the Position

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain large-scale, high-traffic systems
• Ensure the quality of services through test automation and manual testing

• Plan, design, develop, test, debug, implement, and maintain applications
• Drive the growth of Rakuten's ecosystem by delivering innovative technology platforms

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, Ruby, C#, etc.
• Understanding of software development principles, data structures, algorithms, and computer architecture
• Familiarity with source control systems, preferably Git
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to learn quickly
• High communication and teamwork skills
• Desire to learn, innovate, and grow professionally

Nice to Have

• Experience with container platforms (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.) and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, CircleCI, etc.)
• Experience with frontend or backend frameworks like React, Angular, Node.js, Django, etc.
• Experience using Docker
• Knowledge of Shell Scripts
• Experience with Node.js, Elm, Scala, F#, ML, Haskell, Clojure, or Lisp
• Familiarity with ServiceMesh, Prometheus, HAProxy, Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Flink
