Job Description, Responsibilities & Requirements

About the Position

Amby is not your average recruitment consultancy. For the past 13 years, we've been scaling some of Scandinavia's most ambitious companies while leading the shift into AI-powered recruitment. Our vision is simple, yet powerful: to partner with top-tier companies to accelerate their success by building world-class teams and placing the people function at the core of the business. By setting new standards in HR, recruitment, and talent advisory, we're defining how talent ecosystems will work in the future.

We've partnered with companies such as Lovable, reMarkable, Aidn, Six Robotics, and Vind AI to help them grow and succeed. Today, our team of 50+ consultants across Oslo and Stockholm delivers data-driven recruitment and HR-as-a-Service solutions to clients across the Nordics. We are now looking to hire a Recruitment Specialist to join our Oslo team. This is a hands-on, client-facing role for someone who thrives in a high-paced environment, enjoys commercial responsibility, and wants to actively shape the future of the recruitment industry.

Responsibilities

  • Project manage fellow Ambyans by providing guidance on project management and recruitment expertise, while ensuring all team output meets "The Amby Way" quality standards.
  • Lead the design of recruitment processes, selection methods, and marketing strategies, while managing stakeholder alignment and driving change within the client’s organization.
  • Create and execute project plans, proactively identifying and solving bottlenecks to ensure consistent delivery within set timelines.
  • Set KPIs and hiring targets for the project team, and take full responsibility for tracking and reporting performance internally and to the client.
  • Independently manage a portfolio of parallel recruitment processes from A–Z, ensuring high-quality execution even without junior support.
  • Gain commercial experience by participating in sales meetings and scoping processes for new and existing clients.

Requirements

  • Deep knowledge in sourcing, assessment, candidate experience, and project management.
  • Enjoy training others and creating an atmosphere that encourages questions, learning, and knowledge sharing.
  • Comfortable working with medium-complexity projects.
  • Use data to track performance, set targets, and provide evidence-based advice to clients.
  • Seniority and confidence to be the primary point of contact for all recruitment-related questions within your team.
  • Readiness to take the next step into sales, scoping, and resource allocation.

We Offer

  • Involvement in the "business" side of recruitment, from sales to resource planning.
  • The opportunity to lead deliveries for our clients while shaping how Amby delivers value.
  • Work closely with our more senior colleagues to further accelerate your journey toward senior leadership.
  • A data-driven culture where decisions are grounded in insight, evidence, and measurable outcomes.
  • Be a part of a team that is not just keeping up with AI in recruitment, but defining it. We've already reviewed and tested over 70 AI tools, partnered with leading AI suppliers, and are advising our clients on how to implement them in practice.
  • Work with some of Norway's most exciting companies and contribute directly to their growth.
