Red Hat Enterprise Linux Systems Administrator - Lisbon (M/F)

At the moment we are looking for the following candidate: Red Hat Enterprise Linux Systems Administrator – Lisbon (M/F)

Goals and Deliverables

• Administer Red Hat Enterprise Linux servers in stand-alone and clustered environments
• Install, configure, patch, upgrade and troubleshoot Linux servers
• Manage server lifecycle activities, including provisioning, changes, decommissioning, and documentation
• Automate infrastructure operations using Ansible Tower, AWX, Ansible Playbooks, and scripting
• Identify recurring incidents and automate their resolution
• Manage Red Hat Satellite for server provisioning, patching, and content management
• Support Red Hat IDM, OpenLDAP, and related identity services
• Operate Linux high-availability clusters using technologies such as Pacemaker, Corosync, OpenSVC, or Veritas
• Manage VMware environments, including virtual machine provisioning and operational support
• Administer Storage Servers and support enterprise storage connectivity
• Troubleshoot SAN Switches and related infrastructure connections
• Monitor Linux server availability, performance, and security
• Apply security policies, hardening requirements, and compliance controls
• Work with network and security teams to implement connectivity flows
• Investigate incidents, perform root cause analysis, and document resolutions
• Follow change-management procedures for all infrastructure modifications
• Maintain operational documentation, runbooks, and automation procedures

Requirements

• At least 5 years of hands-on Linux systems administration experience
• Strong recent experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux in production environments
• Experience supporting medium or large enterprise infrastructures
• Experience with Linux server patching, upgrades, hardening, and troubleshooting
• Practical experience with Ansible automation in infrastructure operations
• Experience with Ansible Tower, AWX, or Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform
• Experience with Linux clustering and high-availability environments
• Experience with VMware administration
• Experience with Storage Servers, SAN environments, or enterprise storage arrays
• Experience with infrastructure services, authentication systems, and network topologies
• Experience applying security and compliance requirements to Linux environments
• Ability to work with infrastructure, network, and security teams
• Interest in a long-term assignment with continued ownership of the environment

Experience with Red Hat Satellite, Red Hat IDM, OpenLDAP, Pacemaker, Corosync, OpenSVC, Veritas, Dell EMC, or equivalent technologies is strongly preferred.

Salary Range

30.000€ - 40.000€ Gross Annual + Benefits
