About the Position

Agencja Wywiadu is looking for a skilled Redaktor/korektor tekstów to join our team in Warsaw, focusing on editing texts related to national security issues. If you have excellent command of the Polish language and a passion for editing, this opportunity is for you.

Responsibilities

• Ensure texts adhere to spelling, punctuation, and linguistic norms
• Edit, correct, and adjust various types of texts (e.g., articles, reports, documents)
• Work with texts on diverse topics and in different formats
• Collaborate effectively with team members
• Maintain high personal standards
• Demonstrate meticulousness, discipline, responsibility, and the ability to work under time pressure

Requirements

• Very good knowledge of the Polish language in speech and writing, including spelling, punctuation, and linguistic norms
• Experience in editing/correcting/adjusting texts
• Ability to work with texts on various topics and in different formats (e.g., articles, reports, documents)
• Highly developed interpersonal skills
• Independence and excellent work organization
• High personal standards
• Meticulousness, discipline, responsibility, and ability to work under time pressure

Nice to Have

• Relevant education (Polish philology/editorial work/journalism)
• Experience in the publishing industry
• Familiarity with text editing tools (e.g., MS Word)
• Creativity and ability to adapt texts to different audiences
• Knowledge of plain language standards in theory and practice
