The "Banking" division has developed around retail banking, private banking, and specialized financial services. We are driving the digital revolution with our expertise in process automation, Big Data, AI, and Cloud. We support our clients' transformation by combining our skills in the functional areas of Credit, Risk/Compliance, and Payment Methods.

In the context of a permanent recruitment, you will join the Sopra Steria Financial Services teams in Lille, within the Banking division, and work on high-stakes IT projects.

As a Senior Technical Functional Referent, you will work on projects transforming the banking information system, with a dual responsibility:

• A deep understanding of business needs,
• And the ability to communicate effectively with technical teams.

You will be a central player in the project, in close proximity to the business, while remaining grounded in the realities of the IS.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the project management and business teams
• Organize and lead functional workshops
• Gather, analyze, and challenge user needs
• Contribute to defining priorities and maintaining the backlog
• Conduct functional and technical-functional studies and analyses
• Write functional and technical-functional specifications
• Analyze impacts on the Information System
• Collaborate closely with development teams to monitor implementation
• Participate in organizing user acceptance testing and support
• Propose continuous improvement plans, based on understanding business needs

Requirements

• Confirmed experience in a technical functional referent / Business Analyst role in a banking environment
• Graduated from an engineering school, Master 2 or equivalent
• Good knowledge of Mainframe IBM and DB2 environments
• Ability to understand and link business issues and technical constraints
• Comfortable communicating with functional and IT stakeholders
• Excellent interpersonal skills, sense of service, and team spirit
• Analytical, synthesis, and proposal skills
• Aptitude for Financial Services and structural projects
