We are seeking a Regional Business Analyst & Analytics Project Manager to drive data-driven decision making in the Mid Europe Region (MER). This role will leverage problem solving, technical knowledge, and project management skills to partner with market D&A teams, MER IT teams, and MER DD&A team members toward business analysis and effective delivery of analytics projects/products. The role will be based in Prague, CZ and will report to MER D&A Lead.

Responsibilities

Project Management

  • Represent regional D&A; lead, drive, and be accountable for the delivery of the following regional commercial analytics products:
    • MER Customer Engagement Score Dashboard
    • MER Omni Channel Dashboard
    • MER Campaign Tracker Dashboard
    • MER Leadership Insights Dashboard
  • Act as project manager and go-to person for:
    • Business requirements collection
    • Translating and describing business requirements in Jira Ticket for MER IT
    • Answering markets questions / clarifications
  • Understand business stakeholders’ priorities to help translate their needs into business requirements.
  • Ensure with MER IT and Scrum Master that backlog tickets are estimated, prioritized, and planned seamlessly and in the right sequence in sprint planning.
  • Implement robust refinement practices and customer feedback loops to ensure business requirements and features delivered are aligned with business/user/requestor needs.
  • Participate in all agile ceremonies (stand up, refinement, sprint planning, etc.) and provide input when needed.
  • Communicate via release newsletter the release update to region and market stakeholders.
  • Establish and manage close relationships with market D&A teams, MER IT.
  • Collaborate with market D&A teams, anticipate incoming demand and ad-hoc requests, and create a seamless delivery process as well as update documentation when needed.
  • Lease, escalate (on incidences, bugs, etc.) within MER IT, MER AMS, and global Data Sources teams.
  • Be accountable for providing feedback on layout enhancement by having a sharp eye on UI/UX.

Business Analysis

  • Act as business analyst for relevant regional needs that surface during the development of those commercial analytics products (or ad-hoc), deep dive into data analysis, comparisons across markets, develop a deep understanding of the problem to solve, and possess the ability to present solutions/options to regional stakeholders and drive delivery via MER IT.
  • Examples of business analysis requests:
    • Discrepancies across dashboards
    • Various methodologies to split channels by Business Unit
    • Metric calculation discrepancies region versus global

Voice of Business

  • Act as ‘voice of business’ towards MER IT on:
    • Data acquisition topics
    • Global-to-region data migration projects
    • Regional datamarts
  • Routinely keep business informed on project progress, quality standards, data availability timelines, and documentation.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in business analysis and project management
  • Hands-on experience with database querying (SQL) and Excel
  • Strong analytical thinker and problem-solving skills
  • Familiar with Qlik from the consumer perspective
  • Familiar (or prior usage) of Atlassian (Jira & Confluence)
  • Excellent interpersonal and oral and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated, proactive, ability to work independently and collaborate seamlessly
  • Ability to operate in a complex matrix environment and have strong organizational skills to create structure and clarity
  • Effectively communicate complex concepts in simple ways
  • Ability to self-learn and develop business and technical knowledge quickly
  • Experience with different ways of working and delivery methodologies – agile, kanban
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate and lead with diverse groups of work colleagues and positively manage ambiguity
  • Ability to react well to rapidly changing requirements with a positive attitude
  • Understanding of healthcare, technology, and analytics
