Regional Customer Quality, EU

This position supports the executive Quality interface in the Region for one global OEM customer across Connected Car and Car Audio. The role brings the voice of the customer into the HARMAN organization and collaborates with cross-functional teams to meet targets on initial quality, new product introduction, HARMAN supplier quality, and warranty improvement.

Responsibilities

• Ensure HARMAN considers the Voice of the Customer throughout product development and production.
• Represent HARMAN at customer meetings, conferences, and training in the Region.
• Champion investigations to closure through effective problem-solving and reporting.
• Support monthly quality reviews with action out of the Region.
• Manage customer ratings and scorecards to ensure accuracy of customer quality information.
• Ensure information flow related to customer returns and warranty problems.
• Provide resources to facilitate product/process change implementation.
• Monitor/Audit manufacturing sites in the Region to communicate best quality practices.
• Support manufacturing plants in the Region with development of holistic safe launch plans.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with a preference for engineering or equivalent (electrical or mechanical).
• 5+ years of progressively responsible and successful experience in an automotive quality role.
• 3+ years of experience with automotive electronics, preferably audio and/or infotainment modules.
• 2+ years of experience using AIAG guidelines (APQP, PPAP, PFMEA).
• Excellent analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Practical experience in root cause analysis using tools such as Fault Tree Analysis, Root Cause Failure Analysis, Fish bone, Pareto, 5Y, Is-Is not, Cause and Effect, etc.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience in a similar customer quality role at a global Automotive Tier1.
• Knowledge of design and manufacturing processes for electronic assemblies, mechatronics, or automotive applications with display-based user interfaces.
• VDA auditor or equivalent certification.

Pay Transparency

Ft 15,570,000 - Ft 22,836,000

The above represents the annual gross base salary range for this role.
