About the Position

Quality Assurance Manager

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Manager with 5+ years of experience in automotive electronics to join our team in Szekesfehervar, Hungary. This role ensures product quality and customer satisfaction by supporting the executive Quality interface in the Region for a global OEM customer across Connected Car and Car Audio.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that HARMAN has properly considered the Voice of the Customer throughout product development and production.
• Represent HARMAN at customer meetings, conferences, and training in the Region.
• Champion investigations to closure through effective problem solving and reporting.
• Support monthly quality reviews with action out of the Region.
• Manage customer ratings and score cards to ensure accuracy of customer quality information.
• Provide resources to facilitate product/process change implementation and support customer production trial runs.
• Monitor/Audit manufacturing sites in the Region to communicate best quality practices.
• Support manufacturing plants in the Region with development of holistic safe launch plans and drive customer approval for launches, transfers, and qualifications.
• Ensure that warranty agreements and analysis plans are agreed upon with the customer in the Region.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with a preference for engineering or equivalent (electrical or mechanical).
• 5+ years of progressively responsible and successful experience in an automotive quality role.
• 3+ years of experience with automotive electronics, preferably audio and/or infotainment modules.
• 2+ years of experience using AIAG guidelines (APQP, PPAP, PFMEA).
• Excellent analysis and problem solving skills.
• Practical experience in root cause analysis using tools such as Fault Tree Analysis, Root Cause Failure Analysis, Fish bone, Pareto, 5Y, Is-Is not, Cause and Effect, etc.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience in a similar customer quality role at a global Automotive Tier1.
• Knowledge of design and manufacturing processes for electronic assemblies, mechatronics, or automotive applications with display-based user interfaces.
• VDA auditor or equivalent certification.
