About the Position

We are seeking a Regular Software Engineer with expertise in Python, Java, Scala, and big data to join our team in Krakow, Poland.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable backend services using Python, Java, and Scala.
• Design and implement data processing pipelines with Spark and PySpark.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver cloud-native platforms.
• Ensure the development of production-grade software with a focus on quality and performance.
• Utilize DevOps practices to enhance the developer experience and CI/CD pipelines.
• Contribute to the development of financial derivatives risk and pricing models.

Requirements

• Must have:
  • Deep experience in Python, Java, and Scala.
  • Strong knowledge of Spark and big data technologies.
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud-native platforms.
  • Proficiency in quantitative analytics and testing frameworks.
  • Familiarity with design patterns and DevOps practices.
  • Experience with AI-assisted software development tools like GitHub Copilot.
