About the Position

We are seeking a Regular Software Tester - Manual with expertise in automotive validation and testing to join our team in Remote India.

Project Description

Designing View for Parking app using OpenGL technology for Japanese car OEM.

Responsibilities

  • Review requirements and author detailed, structured test cases
  • Participate in requirements or test cases reviews in cross-functional meetings or individually
  • Execute assigned test cases efficiently
  • Report test status and results regularly
  • Ensure compliance with SWE6 of the ASPICE process
  • Automate test cases where applicable to improve efficiency and coverage
  • Work with test benches including power supplies, Vector CANoe, ECUs, and perform hardware harness modifications
  • Create and maintain the Software Test Plan throughout the project lifecycle
  • Manage defects using ticketing systems (tracking, prioritization, follow-up, closure)

Requirements

Must have

  • Hands-on experience with Vector CANoe for automotive validation and testing
  • Experience with automotive communication protocols including CAN, CAN FD, LIN, and Automotive Ethernet, along with UDS diagnostics, DTC analysis, and ECU flashing
  • Experience with requirement management tools such as IBM DOORS or Codebeamer
  • Strong understanding of ASPICE processes (SWE.4, SWE.5, SWE.6)
  • Experience in end-to-end manual testing and validation lifecycle including test execution, smoke, regression, and re-testing
  • Experience in IVI (In-Vehicle Infotainment) system testing
  • Experience in Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing environments
  • Experience with QNX or Linux-based embedded automotive systems

Nice to have

  • CAPL scripting for CAN-based test automation
  • Python / C++ / C# / Java scripting experience
  • Version control tools such as Git
  • Experience with NI TestStand automation frameworks

  • English: C1 Advanced
