Regular Test Automation Engineer

About the Position

We are seeking a Regular Test Automation Engineer to join our team at Luxoft in Cairo, Egypt. As a key player in our automotive software integration and solution house, you will contribute to the development of next-generation battery-electric vehicle platforms. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge automotive technologies and well-recognized customers.

Responsibilities

• Requirement analysis
• Creation of Test cases and Test specification
• Test preparation and execution
• Test Analysis and test evaluation
• Defect logging
• Reporting
• Participation in Test drives (if required)

Requirements

Must have

• Experience in the automotive industry and system testing
• Logical and analytical thinking as well as technical communication ability
• Troubleshooting skills
• Understanding of Testing methods and processes
• Knowledge of required tooling: Robot Framework, or any other modern test automation framework, version control systems, especially Git
• Scripting knowledge: Shell, CAPL
• Programming languages: Python

Nice to Have

• Test design tools: CodeBeamer ALM, JFrog Artifactory, Atlassian Jira, GitHub CI, Atlassian Confluence
• V2X concept
• Communication protocols knowledge: Eth, CAN, FlexRay, LIN, etc.
• Embedded testing experience
