Regular/Senior Software Test Engineer (MobileApp)

About the Position

We're seeking a Regular/Senior Software Test Engineer (MobileApp) with expertise in mobile app testing, CI/CD, and defect tracking tools to join our team in Bengaluru, India. Our client, a leading manufacturer of high-end household appliances, is expanding into new smart product lines. As part of this strategic initiative, a large-scale global program is being implemented across the company's IP portfolio. This includes the development of new embedded software, enhancements to cloud infrastructure, and the creation of innovative interfaces within the mobile application.

Responsibilities

• Perform tasks within agreed timeframe and according to design/functional spec.
• Completely accountable for quality and timely delivery of own tasks.
• Test cases creation based on requirements/SW architecture.
• Build up test environment.
• Test cases execution, report test results and feature status.
• Test case logs/results reporting, defects registering (defects tracking system).
• Defects verification/validation/reproduction.
• Make test-design decisions according to Test Plan/Strategy and requirements.
• Automate tests and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines.
• Perform integration and regression testing.

Requirements

• Degree in computer science or a comparable field
• Solid understanding of Mobile Apps testing
• Manual Testing
• Postman
• CI/CD
• Xcode/ADB
• Few years of experience with test automation (e.g., Appium, Espresso, XCUITest)
• Deep understanding of Android, iOS ecosystems, OS versions, screen resolutions, hardware variations
• Understanding of mobile UX/UI best practices
• Few years of experience with CI/CD pipelines (Bamboo, Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps)
• Few years of experience with defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla)
• Few years of experience working with agile teams (e.g. Scrum, Kanban)
• Team-player having very good communication skills
• Self-organized and highly collaborative
