Release/ Deployment Engineer

About the Position

We're seeking a Release/Deployment Engineer with 3-5 years of experience in Release Management and DevOps to join our team in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. You will be working in a newly set-up technology center located in Kuala Lumpur as part of Technology and Operations to deliver innovative financial technology solutions that enable business growth and technology transformation.

Responsibilities

• Manage application release and deployment activities for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Onboarding, Leads, and Lending applications.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute application deployments across environments.
• Support release management processes and deployment governance.
• Collaborate with development, testing, infrastructure, and business teams for successful releases.
• Perform deployment validations and post-release verification activities.
• Troubleshoot deployment issues and coordinate resolution activities.
• Maintain release documentation, deployment procedures, and change records.
• Support environment management and application configuration activities.
• Participate in incident, problem, and change management processes.
• Ensure compliance with release standards and deployment best practices.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in Release Management, Deployment Engineering, DevOps, or Microsoft Dynamics 365 development.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Customer Onboarding, Leads, Lending modules) OR DevOps deployment experience.
• Experience managing application releases and deployments.
• Experience working with Microsoft platforms and SQL Server.
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Experience with change management and release governance processes.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good stakeholder communication and coordination skills.

Nice to Have

• Microsoft Dynamics 365 development experience.
• DevOps tools and CI/CD pipeline experience.
