REMOTE Sr Software Engineer - SaaS Startup at CyberCoders Minneapolis, MN

About the Position

We're seeking a REMOTE Sr Software Engineer for a SaaS startup in Minneapolis, MN, specializing in React, TypeScript, and Node.js/Go.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using React + Node.js and/or Golang.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while following best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications, optimizing performance and reliability.
• Implement API services and integrate third-party services as required.
• Contribute to the architecture and design of software solutions.
• Keep up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 4+ years of professional software development experience with a strong focus on full-stack development.
• Experience working with an early-stage startup.
• Proficiency in React and either Node.js or Golang.
• Experience with JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Familiarity with SaaS applications and the SDLC.
• Knowledge of API Development and Cloud Computing.
• Experience with Agile Methodologies and GIT for version control.
• Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and responsive design principles.
• Experience with microservices architecture and DevOps practices is a plus.
• Familiarity with tools like Fastify, MUI, React-Query, Storybook, Playwright, and Vite is preferred.
