About the Position
Rendering Software Engineer
We are looking for a Rendering Software Engineer with 5+ years of experience in C++ and OpenGL to join our team. Remote or Kyiv location available.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement graphics techniques
- Develop shaders, animation, skinning, lighting, and special effects
- Utilize tools such as Direct 3D, OpenGL, and DirectX
- Apply object-oriented design principles
- Ensure good software engineering practices
- Manage memory, optimize for multiple processors, and enhance runtime performance
- Test, debug, and extend other software engineers' code
- Work knowledge of DX11 is a significant plus
Requirements
- C++ proficiency
- Experience in the design and implementation of graphics techniques and detailed knowledge of graphics hardware
- Formal background in rendering with experience that may include shaders, animation, skinning, lighting, special effects, and tool development
- Experience with Direct 3D, OpenGL, DirectX, or equivalent
- Experience in object-oriented design and implementation
- Demonstrated knowledge of good software engineering practices
- Understanding of memory management, multiple processor use, and runtime optimization
- Ability to test, debug, and extend other Software Engineer’s code
- Working knowledge of DX11 is a significant plus
- Upper-Intermediate level of English (both written and spoken)
