Resident Engineer Senior CrowdStrike

We are seeking a Resident Engineer Senior specialized in CrowdStrike NG-SIEM and EDR solutions to join our team in Boulogne-Billancourt, France. This role is integral to enhancing our cybersecurity framework and ensuring the reliability and continuous improvement of our security systems.

Responsibilities

• Security Management: Act as a technical and security manager, coordinating between the SOC MSSP and internal client teams.
• Detection Engineering: Optimize detection mechanisms and improve the exploitation of CrowdStrike NG-SIEM and EDR functionalities.
• Log Management: Oversee the ingestion of security logs, configure and manage parsers, and ensure data quality.
• Security Governance: Oversee security exclusions, ensuring their relevance to minimize detection blind spots.
• Platform Supervision: Monitor sensor health, verify the proper functioning of integrations, and assist in resolving malfunctions.
• New Source Integration: Support the onboarding of new log sources and participate in legacy system convergence projects.
• Governance and Coordination: Participate in client monitoring bodies, share technical advancements, and contribute to security decision-making.
• Team Support: Foster the skill development of technical contacts and enhance their proficiency with the CrowdStrike platform.
• Continuous Improvement: Keep abreast of solution updates, identify optimization opportunities, and propose improvements tailored to client needs.
• Service Continuity: Anticipate absences of more than five working days and organize replacements by CrowdStrike experts to ensure business continuity.

Requirements

• CrowdStrike NG-SIEM and EDR: In-depth knowledge of the platform and its functionalities.
• Detection Engineering: Expertise in designing, optimizing, and improving detection mechanisms.
• Log Ingestion: Proficiency in integrating and managing security data sources.
• Parser Management: Configuration, maintenance, and optimization skills.
• Security Exclusions Governance: Ability to define, control, and monitor exclusions.
• Sensor and Integration Health: Supervision, diagnostics, and operational maintenance.
• SOC MSSP Environment: Capability to work in coordination with an outsourced security operations center.
• Legacy System Convergence: Experience in supporting modernization and integration projects.
• Security Governance: Participation in committees and monitoring of improvement actions.
