About the Position

Veolia Prévention & Emergency France, a specialized branch of the global leader in environmental services, is seeking a Responsable de Projets Travaux for their site in Rognac, France. This role focuses on post-disaster safety, rehabilitation, and reconstruction, ensuring the security and ecological transformation of industrial sites.

Responsibilities

• Project Management: Direct and oversee complex work projects from preparation to completion, including post-disaster safety, shoring, demolition, asbestos removal, roofing, and reconstruction.
• Strategy and Coordination: Define execution strategies, coordinate studies, manage teams and partners, and ensure client relations.
• Budget and Compliance: Master budgets, margins, schedules, procurement, subcontractors, and contractual and financial monitoring.
• Safety and Quality: Ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, particularly concerning asbestos; manage risks, waste, and reporting.
• Estimating and Continuous Improvement: Contribute to cost estimates and proposals; oversee acceptance, DOE, regulatory monitoring, and continuous improvement.

Frequent travel within France and, depending on the project, internationally. Regular presence on site, including in occupied, disaster-stricken, asbestos-contaminated, or highly secure industrial environments.

Requirements

• Experience: Proven experience in managing complex TCE projects, site preparation, team management, and contractual and financial management.
• Expertise: Expertise in post-disaster safety, shoring, demolition, asbestos removal, reconstruction, roofing, and waterproofing.
• Skills: Mastery of HSE requirements, leadership, autonomy, and results orientation.
