Description of the Position
To strengthen its aeronautics/space/defense division, the Competences Directorate of the ALTEN group is recruiting a technical specialist in manufacturing, under the responsibility of the project manager.
Main Missions
As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for the industrialization and optimization of manufacturing processes within your scope.
Industrialization & Process
- Develop and qualify manufacturing processes for new products
- Lead manufacturability analyses and propose technical solutions to secure production
- Participate in the definition and implementation of tools, means, and workstations
- Write technical documentation: manufacturing files, work instructions, process FMEA, control plans
Optimization & Continuous Improvement
- Analyze industrial performance (quality, costs, deadlines) and take actions to reduce non-conformities
- Implement Lean approaches (5S, Kaizen, VSM, DMAIC…) in collaboration with field teams
- Conduct process optimization projects: automation, robotization, digitalization
Production & Quality Support
- Provide daily technical support to production teams
- Contribute to root cause analysis (8D, RCA) and resolution of complex problems
- Participate in internal and external audits (quality, processes, customers)
Qualifications
Education / Experience

Graduated from an engineering school or holder of a Master's degree (Bac+5) in electronics, industrialization, or methods

Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing project management and/or in the aeronautics/defense industrial sector
Technical Skills
- Knowledge in electronics
- Knowledge of quality standards
- Skills in the creation and/or modification of assembly or manufacturing processes, as well as associated nomenclatures and technical documentation
- Skills in continuous improvement tools, Lean/Green Belt appreciated
