Role

Responsibilities

Valtech, the leading Oracle Retail partner for an international luxury brand, is looking for a Client Partner / Delivery Manager. The role involves leading the team in charge of retail information systems, with a focus on the Oracle Retail Xstore/EICS/OMS solution deployed globally.

Roadmap

  • Work with international business teams (60+ countries) to evaluate new projects: challenge and qualify needs, assess feasibility, provide effort estimates, identify constraints and dependencies.
  • Ensure that the committed roadmap aligns with the team's capacity (120+ retail specialists).
  • Ensure that cross-domain dependencies (architecture, security, governance) are identified and secured.

Team Management

  • Lead a team of 120+ retail specialists within a global account of 300+ people, in a tripartite governance (client, integrator cockpit, Valtech technical delivery).
  • Ensure the team has the right profiles; recruit internally and through external consultants.
  • Grow team members (promotions, individual development plans).

Budget

  • Manage and defend the retail program budget.
  • Ensure that actuals are in line with the committed budget.
  • Build budget revisions with business and IT counterparts.

Delivery

  • Allocate projects to project managers based on their expertise and development plans.
  • Ensure the progress of ongoing projects; support teams on key phases and review deliverables.
  • Manage risks and inter-stream dependencies; alert and prioritize in case of blockage.
  • Ensure the stability of points of sale (600+ stores); manage incidents (communication, impact analysis, remediation, RCA).
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with non-functional requirements: version upgrades, legal/fiscal compliance, security, group compliance.

Qualifications Required

To be eligible for this position, you must possess the following essential qualifications:

  • +10 years of experience in Retail IT, including several years in large-scale program/domain leadership.
  • Solid knowledge of retail processes: sales, payments, after-sales service, inventory management, store operations.
  • Ability to translate business needs into robust technical solutions (Oracle Retail Xstore/EICS/OMS, SaaS).
  • Natural leadership, excellent communication in a multicultural environment (EMEA/India).
  • Multi-priority management in a complex and evolving environment (SAFe program, PI planning).
  • Expertise in omnichannel environments and SOA/API/ETL architecture.
  • Proven experience in managing technology partners and multi-party governance.
  • Experience in premium/luxury retail environment.
  • Fluent French and English.
