About the Position

Retail Transformation Lead

At Pinterest, we’re on a mission to bring everyone the inspiration to create a life they love. We’re looking for a Retail Transformation Lead to help bring structure and momentum to a focused portfolio of strategic retail relationships, supporting integrated partnership plans that span media, measurement, data, commerce integrations, creator programs, and key industry moments.

This is an individual-contributor role for a highly organized, strategic operator who can turn complex partnership opportunities into clear plans, coordinated workstreams, and measurable outcomes. You will partner closely with Sales, Product, Engineering, Data Science, Marketing, and Content to support retail growth initiatives, develop partner-facing materials, and drive execution against shared goals.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development and execution of integrated partnership plans for a focused portfolio of approximately 5–20 strategic retail and commerce relationships
  • Help coordinate non-traditional retail partnership motions that combine advertising, measurement, data, commerce integrations, creator programs, and in-store or co-branded activations.
  • Support the development of Pinterest’s point of view on emerging retail and commerce trends, including AI-enabled shopping experiences, agentic commerce, account linking, and evolving data and measurement expectations.
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, and Data Science to gather requirements, document feedback, and support the development of new retail media and commerce solutions
  • Support execution of Future of Retail programs, including partner research, program planning, pilot coordination, and cross-functional follow-through across commerce integrations, creator programs, and experiential moments
  • Help build repeatable frameworks for prioritizing retail partners, evaluating opportunities, packaging solutions, and tracking progress across cross-functional teams.
  • Analyze market, partner, and internal performance inputs to identify trends, opportunities, and areas requiring escalation or strategic focus
  • Contribute to joint planning and execution for priority commerce-platform partnerships, including tracking shared outcomes such as GMV growth and active customers on Pinterest.
  • Support seasonal and tentpole retail moments-including Predicts, Holiday, and major partner events-by coordinating partner strategy, internal readiness, activation plans, and follow-up.
  • Use AI tools to accelerate research, planning, synthesis, and drafting while applying sound judgment, fact-checking, and stakeholder validation before sharing recommendations or materials
  • Build strong working relationships across functions and proactively resolve execution gaps to keep priority initiatives moving forward

Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in partnerships, account management, strategy, business development, monetization, retail media, commerce, or related fields
  • Experience supporting complex, multi-product partnership or commercialization motions that go beyond traditional media sales.
  • Experience working with advertisers, retailers, commerce platforms, agencies, or technology partners
  • Familiarity with emerging commerce trends-such as retail media networks, commerce-platform integrations, AI-enabled shopping, data and measurement partnerships, or omnichannel retail experiences-is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to help structure ambiguous opportunities into prioritized plans, clear workstreams, and scalable operating processes.
  • Strong project-management skills, with demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders, timelines, and dependencies
  • Experience analyzing performance data and using insights to inform account plans, program strategy, or partnership opportunities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to create concise briefs, presentations, and stakeholder updates
  • Experience working with a focused set of strategic accounts or partners and identifying ways to deepen relationships through integrated, multi-dimensional solutions.
  • Comfort partnering with technical and non-technical teams, including Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Data Science
  • Demonstrated ability to use AI tools to improve efficiency in research, planning, analysis, and communication, while validating outputs for accuracy, quality, and appropriate use
  • High ownership, strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to handle sensitive information responsibly
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience

We Offer

  • Competitive salary range: $132,298-$272,377 USD per year
  • Opportunity to work remotely
  • Equity eligibility
  • Comprehensive benefits package
