Responsibilities
The Retirement Consultant – Roll In (Consultant) drives consolidation of assets into proprietary employer sponsored retirement plans by acting as a single point of contract, educator, and consultant for individual customers throughout the entirety of the process. Consultants work autonomously to maintain a book of business and provide positive outcomes and experiences for customers by scheduling meetings with individual customers, holding conference calls with contra firms & customers, providing individualized education and support throughout the consolidation process.
- Place outbound calls to and handle inbound calls from our participant base, with the objective of consolidating their retirement savings into their employer sponsored plan with Empower
- Demonstrate expertise in retirement investment vehicles, especially 401(k), 403(b), 457b, 401(a), and IRAs
- Provide exceptional service required for the administration of the rollover process, and develop solutions for unique problems/situations
- Service rollover relationship from opportunity handoff through close, increasing participant touch, satisfaction, and loyalty
- Request educational and marketing material for participants as necessary
- Build team camaraderie and focus efforts toward a shared goal objective
- Thrive in a fast-paced, performance-oriented call center environment
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED
- 2 years of experience in financial services
- Ability to work within a flexible call center schedule and environment
- FINRA 6 & 63 registrations required within established timelines
- FINRA fingerprinting upon hire
Nice to Have
- Prior telephone experience preferred
- Customer-focused, outward approach to delivery of retail asset gathering opportunities
- Strong desire to meet the needs of internal and external customers
