About the Position
We are seeking a Retirement Plan Administration Specialist for a freelance project in Jamaica. This role is focused on compliance testing, government reporting, plan terminations, and retirement plan compliance for our client’s bundled clients. The ideal candidate will be a motivated individual who can manage their own block of responsibilities, confidently answer retirement plan questions, and collaborate with the team to improve workstreams.
Responsibilities
- Year-end testing for DC plans & 5500s for terminating DC plans (EZ, SF, and large)
- Drafting termination resolutions
- Communicating with clients throughout the termination process
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of retirement plan administration experience
- Ideally has worked on plan terminations and/or plan documents
- Excellent written & oral communication skills
- Meticulous attention to detail & organization
- Passion for helping people
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite & G Suite
- Proven ability to think analytically & operate independently within set deadlines
- Team player
- Shows ownership and initiative in all aspects of work
- QKA certifications

The Retirement Plan Administration (RPA) team is the go-to subject matter experts on qualified retirement plan rules and operations. This team ensures cross-functional alignment in iterating and executing the annual retirement plan administration process, overseeing the retirement plan compliance of our client’s clients, and driving product improvements.
