About the Position
We're seeking an RF Engineer (Radars) to join our R&D team in Kyiv, Ukraine. This role involves developing advanced RF solutions and working on a full cycle from idea to serial product.
Responsibilities
- Develop detailed schematic solutions for RF devices according to specifications.
- Debug RF devices to obtain characteristics according to specifications.
- Improve existing RF designs.
- Ensure electromagnetic compatibility of different parts of the RF device during the design phase.
- Experimentally detect and resolve electromagnetic compatibility conflicts between system nodes.
- Review RF designs of printed circuit boards from hardware engineers.
- Prepare PCB design documentation for production.
Requirements
- Experience with RF simulation and CAD software.
- Practical experience in designing and debugging RF components at frequencies above 6 GHz (heterodynes, power amplifiers, superheterodyne receivers, mixers, filters, etc.).
- Proficiency in specialized CAD software for electromagnetic and radio engineering simulations: Ansys HFSS, CST Studio Suite, AWR Microwave Office, Keysight ADS, Keysight Genesis, etc.
- Practical experience in calculating, designing, and debugging matching circuits and RF filters on distributed and lumped elements.
- Practical experience in designing, calculating, and debugging RF signal generation nodes (PLL with internal and external VCO, DDS, multi-loop PLL).
- Proficiency in RF measurement equipment for measuring characteristics and adjusting RF components (VNA, signal generator, spectrum analyzer, power meter, wideband oscilloscope, etc.).
- Education: radio engineering, instrumentation, radio physics.
