Rigging Artist

Lakshya Digital, a Keywords Studio, is looking for experienced Rigging Artists to join our team and work on AAA game titles. Based in Gurugram, Haryana, India, Lakshya Digital is a renowned game art studio with a rich history of creating art for globally successful game titles such as Bloodborne, Dark Souls II, and Just Cause 3. Responsibilities

• Study task specifications and client briefs thoroughly.
• Provide a list of queries to the Lead for task clarification.
• Work closely with the Lead to estimate task efforts.
• Ensure clarity on task specifications, timelines, and approach.
• Create controls for animation, rigging, and skinning of characters and props.
• Provide daily updates on task status to Lead/sub-Lead.
• Adopt organization-mandated best practices and work processes.
• Deliver high-quality work with zero QC errors and minimal iteration.

Requirements

• A graduate with working experience of more than 3+ years in character setup/rigging.
• Ability to build custom biped, quadruped, facial, and mechanical rigs.
• Good knowledge of anatomy for both human/biped and animal/quadruped.
• Proficiency in Maya and 3DS MAX.
• Good understanding of the game art creation pipeline.
• Ability to work with minimal guidance and in a team environment.
• Self-motivated with good communication skills and problem-solving abilities.
• Background in visual arts/design with a strong understanding of form, geometry, and movement.
• Skills in other functional areas such as modeling and texturing are a plus.
• Passionate gamer with experience playing a wide range of video games.
