About the Position
ING Hubs Poland is hiring!
We are looking for a Risk Modelling Expert – Special Projects to join our team in Varsovie, Pologne. The expected salary for this position is:
- Model Developer IV: 13 000 - 22 000 PLN
- Model Developer V: 17 300 - 28 000 PLN
The financial ranges specified in the announcement are adjusted and may differ from the range specified in the remuneration regulations.
Responsibilities
- Tackle the most important modelling challenges across ING, supporting teams and projects wherever additional expertise or capacity is needed.
- Develop innovative solutions, methodologies, and analytical tools that improve the way credit risk is managed.
- Translate complex quantitative topics into practical recommendations and tangible business impact.
Requirements
- Have a strong quantitative background (MSc in Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, Physics, Engineering or a similar field) and experience within credit risk modelling.
- Demonstrate strong learning agility and thrive in ambiguous environments, quickly building knowledge in unfamiliar areas without established frameworks.
- Effectively bridge technical and business perspectives, communicating complex analyses clearly to senior stakeholders.
- Are fluent in English (C1).
Nice to Have
- Experience in IRB or IFRS9 model development, validation, or implementation.
- Experience acting as a sparring partner to senior management.
- Exposure to different risk disciplines, portfolios, or regulatory initiatives.
