About the Position

TAF Industries, a leading military-tech company in the development and production of defense technologies, is seeking a skilled Odoo ERP Developer with over 2 years of experience for a role in Kyiv.

Responsibilities

• Development & Customization:

  • Creation of custom modules
  • Modification of existing applications
  • Back-end development
  • Front-end development

• Integration and Data Management:

  • API Integration
  • Data migration
  • Database management

• Testing, Support, and Optimization:

  • Debugging and error resolution
  • Performance optimization
  • Basic server administration

• Team and Business Interaction:

  • Task evaluation
  • Documentation

Requirements

• Experience:

  • At least 2 years of experience specifically with Odoo
  • Ability to manage tasks from technical requirement analysis to deployment and testing without constant supervision from an Architect

• Skills:

  • Python and Odoo ORM: Confident proficiency in Python. Deep understanding of Odoo ORM (methods such as search, read, write, create, unlink, name_get, etc.)
  • PostgreSQL: Experience with relational databases. Understanding of how Odoo forms SQL queries "under the hood", ability to write raw SQL queries when necessary, and optimization of database operations.
  • Data Migration: Experience in writing migration scripts for updating databases when changing the structure of models in new versions of modules.

• Knowledge:

  • Odoo architecture and business logic: standard modules, access rights (Security).
