About the Position
We are seeking a Ruby on Rails Developer with over 12 years of experience for a part-time role in Warsaw, Poland. The candidate should have extensive experience with backend infrastructure and DevOps practices.
Responsibilities
- Lead and rebuild development teams, hiring over 10+ developers.
- Upgrade Ruby and Rails versions, and manage PostgreSQL upgrades.
- Develop fully automated Docker Compose setups for microservices.
- Perform various performance optimizations and infrastructure cost reductions.
- Architect and manage IT operations, including API integrations and CI/CD pipelines.
- Create internal services and tools to improve company processes.
Requirements
- 12+ years of Ruby on Rails experience.
- Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, and caching.
- Proficiency in APIs, CI/CD, and microservices.
- Strong background in DevOps practices, including Docker.
- Excellent project and team management skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Spree Commerce and Voluum.
- Knowledge of VoIP and PBX systems.
- Familiarity with FreeSWITCH and SIP.
