About the Position
We are looking for a Ruby on Rails Developer to join our R&D team with a focus on production support and issue resolution. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys debugging real-world problems, working with live systems, and ensuring smooth product operations.
Responsibilities
- Handle support tickets and investigate issues reported by customers or internal teams
- Fix minor problems and escalate complex issues to the development team
- Contribute to occasional feature development and enhancements
Requirements
- 1 to 3 years of experience with Ruby on Rails
- Ability to read logs, trace issues, and perform root cause analysis
- Understanding of databases and background job systems (e.g., Resque)
- Familiarity with APIs and production systems
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS)
Shift Schedule
- Saturday + Sunday: 12:30 PM – 8:30 PM India Standard Time (IST)
- 3 workweek days of choice: 12:30 PM – 8:30 PM India Standard Time (IST)
- On-call requirement: Once every three weekends
