About the Position

Sales Consultant (m/w/d) Managed Services

As a Sales Consultant (m/w/d) Managed Services, you will be an integral part of our consulting and sales team. In this role, you will advise our clients on their sourcing strategy. You will act as a central interface: you will analyze customer needs and, together with our commercial and technical teams, develop customized Managed Service concepts – from infrastructure to public cloud services and services from our own Hamburg Cloud to holistic service packages.

Responsibilities

• Acquisition of new and existing customers in the SME environment
• Strategic IT consulting for our customers in defining and implementing tailored sourcing strategies
• Methodical support of sourcing processes through economic analyses and ROI calculations
• Active participation in IT architecture and solution design of future-proof IT sourcing concepts
• Independent bid management, including the creation of offers, tenders (RFP/RFQ) as well as precise calculations and cost analyses
• Structured preparation and follow-up of customer appointments including the derivation of target-oriented sales measures
• Continuous market and needs analysis for the active shaping of our overall sales strategy
• Close, cross-functional cooperation with our internal commercial and technical teams
• Representation of the company and active networking at trade fairs and industry events

Requirements

• Preferably a completed degree (e.g. Business Informatics, Business Administration with IT focus) or comparable IT training (e.g. IT System Management, IT Specialist)
• Several years of relevant professional experience in sales and solid industry experience in the field of managed services or complex IT sourcing strategies
• Solid ITIL knowledge is a must, ideally you bring ITIL certification with you
• Structured, independent and highly customer-oriented way of working with a pronounced solution and closing orientation
• Fluent English skills in speech and writing are desirable
