About the Position
Sales Development Representative - Partner

Responsibilities
- Identify, research, and recruit new MSP partners through outbound outreach, campaigns, and event engagements.
- Conduct introductory calls to qualify potential partners, understand their business model, and position the value of partnering with Egnyte.
- Conduct outbound calls to lead campaigns consisting of warm leads and cold calls.
- Qualify outbound leads via phone, webform, and email.
- Identify new business opportunities, generate interest, qualify, educate, and develop new opportunities while working with field sales team counterparts to help build territory plans.
- Feel comfortable talking about product and following script, new business only, new inquiries not aligned with anyone, gain interest, then handoff to account executive.
- Deal with high volume and quick turnaround.
- Travel occasionally as needed to staff events and/or for lead acquisition.
Requirements
- Demonstrated success in sales development or lead generation.
- Prior experience with cloud and/or SaaS products preferred.
- Experience with Salesforce.com is a plus.
- Organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to understand technology and communicate it to prospects.
- Quick learner and self-starter with an entrepreneurial work ethic.
- Knowledge of business organizational structures and buying influences.
- BS/BA or equivalent preferred.
